Volunteers
Volunteer opportunities are open on an ongoing basis. Bilingual skills are very helpful - especially in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Vietnamese and Arabic. Regular participation in either clinic is preferable but we can accommodate some individual shifts as well.
Shifts are 4.5 hours
Clinical volunteers assist with the following both on-site and on “roving” teams (under the supervision of a licensed provider):
- Screen patients for vaccine eligibility
- Document in EMR and issue CDC cards
- Provide harm reduction supplies and education
- Assist clinicians with health outreach and education
